There are thousands of homes and businesses without power right across the North West this afternoon.
There are significant power outages in some areas.
Areas impacted include Collooney in Sligo, and Manorhamilton in County Leitrim.
Other areas impacted included Drumkeerin, Dowra, Ballytivnan ,Gurteen, Ballintogher, Tubbercurry, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon.
Siobhan Wynne is the regional manager for the central region with the ESB network.
She’s been telling the OceanFM News Room that the local areas was hardest hit.
