Fianna Fáil select four candidates to contest local elections in the Ballymote Tubbercurry Municipal District



The Fianna Fáil Parliamentary party will run 4 candidates in the Ballymote Tubbercurry Municipal District in this year’s local elections.

 

Following a selection convention which was held last night it was confirmed that Barry Gallagher, Liam Brennan, Keith Henry and sitting councillor, Paul Taylor would all run in the elections which are due to take place in June.

 

Senator Eugene Murphy chaired last night’s convention in Ballymote.

 

The party currently hold two seats in the electoral area.

 

Outgoing Councillor Martin Baker earlier announced that he would not be putting his name forward for re-election.
