A total of 520 jobs were created across the North West in 2023.
The jobs were created with the support of Local Enterprise Offices.
Donegal saw the highest amount of jobs created, with 321. 117 were created in Sligo, with the remaining 82 in Leitrim.
This was part of a nationwide increase, with a total of 6,640 jobs created around the country.
Dublin had the highest amount with 1,003, followed by Cork with 714, and Limerick with 453.
Leitrim’s total was the smallest in the country.
Speaking after the figures were released, Fine Gael’s Neale Richmond said that the increase was a testament to Local Enterprise Offices, and highlighted how crucial their support to local buisnesses is.
