Met Eireann predict snow falls for North West region

Parts of the North West  region can expect falls of snow over the next twenty four hours


A status yellow low temperature-ice warning expires at eleven o’clock this morning, but the chilly spell isn’t going anywhere.


Met Eireann’s cold weather advisory is to remain in place until Friday, with arctic air bringing wintry conditions.


A Snow-Ice warning has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth


This warning come into effect at 6 p.m. this evening and will remain in place until 11 am tomorrow.
