Local representatives for the Fianna Fáil Party have confirmed that the Party selection convention for the Ballymote Tubbercurry MD will take place on Thursday January 18th
Four candidates have been nominated by party members to contest the local elections in June.
Sitting Councillor Paul Taylor’s will be one of the favourites to be placed on the ticket.
Outgoing Councillor Martin Baker has decided not to run this time round.
Barry Gallagher, Liam Brennan and Keith Henry have all been nominated to contest the party nomination at next week’s convention which will take place in Coach House Hotel in Ballymote.
