Gardaí in Boyle say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the recovery of a body of a man from the Boyle Canal.
The man’s body was discovered yesterday morning.
It’s understood the man was aged in his 80’s.
His body was removed from the scene and a post mortem will take place at a later date.
