Donegal County Council have announced their programme for free natural Christmas tree recycling.
The programme is open from Tuesday, January 2nd to Saturday, January 27th.
Domestic trees can be recycled for free at a number of locations in Donegal.
These include the Council Yard in Killybegs, Laghey Recycling Centre, Munday’s Field Car Park in Ballyshannon and Sea Front Car Park in Bundoran.
The Council Yards will open from Monday to Thursday from 9am until 4pm and on Friday from 9pm to 3pm.
Laghey Recycling Centre will open Thursdays from 10.30pm to 5pm, Friday 8.30am until 5pm and on Saturday from 8.30pm to 2.30pm.
The public are being reminded to not leave trees outside council premises after the specified times and trees left at non-listed sites will be considered illegal dumping.
