Housing for all policy branded a failure

The Government’s Housing for All policy has been branded a failure.

The comments were made by Donegal Independent TD Thomas Pringle, who says the housing crisis in Ireland needs to be urgently addressed.

According to homelessness figures from March, a record 13,800 people were registered homeless, with 172 of those across the North West region.

Homelessness in Donegal had also risen by 10% in January of this year.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Deputy Pringle feels that the Government don’t see homelessness as a pressing issue.
