90 refugees set to move to Ballyshannon

Ballyshannon is set to become home to 90 refugees from Tuesday, December 20.

A deal has been struck to house these people in temporary accommodation at Cavangarden Bed and Breakfast, located just off the N15.

The 90 refugees described as adult male international protection applicants will be housed in 29 rooms.

It is yet to be confirmed what length of stay the refugees will have in Cavangarden although a one-year contract has been signed with the provider.
