Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s footballer Roisín McHugh has been named as the LGFA’s Player of the Month for November 2023.
McHugh’s sterling club displays helped her home club reach an historic All-Ireland intermediate club football final.
She scored an inspirational 0-8 in their dramatic semi-final win over Lavey of Derry.
The team, managed by former Leitrim Connacht championship winner Barney Breen, are getting ready to take on Glanmire (Cork) in Saturday’s final at Croke Park.
The match will be broadcast live on Ocean FM from 3pm – with commentary from Clare Owens and Ray Lannon.
