Sligo clubs qualify for Connacht Minor A and B Football Championship finals



A Sligo double is on the cards in the Connacht Minor Football A and B Championships. Both Eastern Harps and Ballymote/Bunninadden secured their places in the finals last night with wins against Leitrim opposition.

In the A championship, Eastern Harps saw off Allen Gaels Fenagh by 0-10 – 1-06, while Ballymote/Bunninadden beat Rinn Gaels by 2-12 to 1-08 in the B.

Ballymote/Bunninadden will now face The Neale in the B Championship final, with Eastern Harps taking on Castlebar Mitchels.

Both games will take place in the Connacht Centre of Excellence this Friday, with the B final throwing in at 6.30, and the A final at 8pm.
