The Final Whistle on Thursday night came live from Monsignor Hynes Park in Grange, the home of St Molaise Gaels GAA Club, ahead of their first appearance in a Sligo senior football championship final since 1978.
Austin O’Callaghan’s guests included Molaise’s husband-and-wife team Gay & Breege Kelly – the club’s Chairperson & Treasurer, former Sligo legend Mattie Hoey and members of the 1978 Grange county final team, Thomas Kilfeather, Eileen Coyne, Ed Mullane, Orla Fitzpatrick, John Doyle, Anthony Brennan, Johnny Watters – plus live music from Grainne Kilfeather, Emmet Doherty and Seoid.
This Sunday’s Sligo senior and intermediate football finals will both be broadcast live from Markievicz Park on Ocean FM – in association with Oates Breheny Group, your local mortgage expert.
