A Tridium of Prayer in preparation for the Feast of St. Padre Pio will take place at the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh from Wednesday 20th September until Saturday 23rd September.  There will be Mass, Homily and Blessing with the Glove each evening at 7.30pm. Fr Pius Mc Laughlin who met Padre Pio will preach the Triduum.

 

The 30th annual Culfadda fun walk in aid of North West Hospice takes place Sunday 17th September. Registration at 12.30pm at Culfadda National School. Walk starts at 1pm sharp. There will be a function that evening at 6pm in O Dowds Lakeview Lounge and Bar Monasteradden to celebrate our 30 years

 

You’re invited to the Sligo Presbyterian Chruch Harvest Festival from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th of September. View the wonderful arrangements throughout the church, on Chruch St Sligo on Friday from 5 to 8pm, Saturday from 11 until 7pm and on Sunday 2 til 6pm followed by songs of praise from 7pm. All proceeds to Sligo Social Services.

 

St. Anne’s Church, Cranmore Road, Sligo hosts their second Eucharistic Conference Day on Saturday 16 September. Along with this Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino from Italy will present Bishop Kevin Doran with a First Class Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis which will go on permanent Display in St Anne’s.  All are invited to join us during the day, during which various events will take place. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 6.30pm. Everybody is most welcome.  

 

Eurovision and London’s west end performer & choreographer Thomas Spratt is coming to Sligo, after launching his own Dance, Act, Singing studio, academy in Boyle Co Roscommon. Thomas will be running a fun 4 week course of Adult Tap dancing classes, Wednesday’s between 7pm and 8pm, from 20th September in the Avalon Centre Sligo.
