Man arrested after testing positive for cocaine while driving



Gardai in Sligo have arrested a man that tested positive for cocaine while driving.

 

The man was arrested after being stopped by the

Sligo Roads Policing Unit who were conducting speed checks on the N4.

 

The vehicle he was driving was travelling at 177km/h in 100km/h zone.

 

The driver tested positive for cocaine and was driving unaccompanied on a learner permit.

 

The vehicle was seized by Gardaí.
