Three men have been arrested in Sligo this morning in connection with a number of assaults and public order offences which happened in the town this week.
A number of men, aged in their 20s, were taken to Sligo University Hospital in the early hours of Monday morning to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
All three men were arrested earlier this morning and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Garda Stations in the Sligo District.
Gardai say that investigations are ongoing and are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Garavogue Weir area of Sligo between 1:00am and 2:00am on Monday morning are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
