Number waiting trolleys at North West hospitals remains high



The number of those waiting on trolleys at the North West’s two main hospitals remains high.

There were 50 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital, making it the second highest in the country today.

The figure is lower at Letterkenny University Hospital where 21 were waiting this morning.

Nationally,  University Hospital Limerick remains the country’s most overcrowded facility with 89.

The total number of patients across the country stands at 483 today according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
