Communities in Donegal and Westmeath are waking up over 6 million euro richer today.
Tuthills Newsagents in Athlone and McCarron’s Village Shop in Quigley’s Point sold tickets to last Saturday’s Lotto jackpot.
Both winners have made contact with The National Lottery.
Last weekend’s lotto jackpot was the biggest of the year so far.
Since the Lotto game launched in 1988, only 28 jackpots in excess of €10million have been won.
It’s also the third lotto win in less than a month in Donegal.
