Resurgent Donegal topple Monaghan in Omagh



Donegal produced their best performance of 2023 on Saturday evening with a spirited 0-19 to 0-17 win over Monaghan in the concluding All-Ireland SFC Group 4 game at Healy Park in Omagh – to set up a home game for themselves when the draw for the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals is made on Monday morning.

Monaghan, despite losing, are also through to Monday morning’s draw but they will face an away trip, against a runner-up from one of the other three groups.
