All-Ireland U20 final fixed for Cavan next Saturday

Sligo’s Eirgrid All-Ireland under-20 football final against Kildare has been fixed for Kingspan Breffni in Cavan next Saturday afternoon (May 13th) with a 1:30pm throw-in (changed from 2:45pm to accommodate live TV coverage).

The GAA confirmed the details of the fixture on Saturday evening.

It will be a first every All-Ireland final for the Yeats County at this grade – and it was secured following Saturday’s memorable 1-8 to 0-9 semi-final win over Kerry in Salthill.

Kildare booked their place in a second consecutive All-Ireland U20 final after Saturday night’s 1-11 to 2-7 victory over Down at Parnell Park.

The Lillywhites beat Sligo in last season’s All-Ireland under-20 semi-final.

Ocean FM will broadcast Sligo v Kildare live from Kingspan Breffni Park next Saturday afternoon.

The game will also be televised live by TG4.
