The funeral details for the woman that was found dead in unexplained circumstances at her Sligo home last Monday will take place over the weekend.
Angela Canavan, who lived at St John’s Terrace in the town and was discovered with head injuries.
A post mortem into the death of the woman in her 50’s was believed to have proven inconclusive and the Garda investigation into her death is continuing.
Her remains will repose in Crossmolina this evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St. Tiernan’s Church.
Requiem Mass takes place tomorrow, (Sat) at 10am, with cremation to follow at a later date.
