A Leitrim Fianna Fáil Councillor has launched a blistering attacking on his Fianna Fáil colleague Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue at today’s monthly meeting of Leitrim County Council.
Councillor Caillian Ellis had requested funding for farmers to carry out drainage work on lands in West and North West, however, Minister McConalogue refused.
Councillor Ellis described him a “Yes man for Europe and an out of touch Minister for Agriculture”:
