Almost 90 waiting on trolleys at North West hospitals



Letterkenny University Hospital was the 4th most over-crowded hospital in the country when it comes to patients waiting on trolleys this morning.

47 patients were waiting on trolleys at the Donegal facility.

There are an additional 40 people waiting on beds at Sligo University Hospital.

Throughout the country there were 562 patients without a bed in Irish hospitals this morning according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

University Hospital Limerick remains the most overcrowded hospital in the country with 89 waiting on trolleys there according to figures.
