The time for action on much needed improvement works along the N17 is well overdue.
That’s according to Fianna Fail Cllr Paul Taylor who says he’s ‘sick’ of highlighting the issue and it seemingly falling on deaf ears.
The busy route is home to a large number of junctions and residents are said to be finding it increasingly difficult to access the main road.
There’s also been a large number of minor crashes along the route over the years.
Cllr Taylor says it’s unacceptable that while funding is place for some safety measures it has yet to be spent:
