Gardaí in Sligo are appealing for witnesses after damage caused to the Green amenity area of Dun An Ri, in Ballintogher.
It’s understood that the damage was caused on Saturday night last.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles traveling in the area to contact Sligo Garda Station on 071-9157000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
Local Cllr Thomas Walsh says it was disappointing to see the efforts of the local residents associations at Dun An Ri be destroyed in this fashion:
