Donegal Member of AGSI member warns of more garda action if demands are not met



A Donegal Sergeant is warning that more demonstrations may have to be organised if the Garda Commissioner does not listen to the concerns of Gardai on the ground.

 

It comes as over 250 members of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors marched to Garda Headquarters yesterday to voice their concern over ‘unsafe’ working hours.

 

They claim Commissioner Drew Harris is refusing to fulfil a commitment he made to return to pre-pandemic rostering.

 

Vice President of the of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors Paul Wallace says while they are open to negotiations, more action could also be on the cards:
