Deputy Feighan says Citizens Assembly on Drug Use is needed to tackle nationwide pandemic



A Sligo Leitrim TD has reiterated that there’s a drug problem in every town and village in the country.

 

The establishment of a Citizens Assembly on Drug Use was heavily discussed in the Dail last evening.

 

The Assembly will hold its first meeting in April and is set to conclude its work this year, aiming to significantly reduce the impact illicit drugs have in communities.
