More jobs expected to be created locally in 2023

It’s expected that regions such as the north west could see an increase in the number of jobs being created in sectors such as IT, Healthcare and Construction this year.

FRS recruitment says there will be a “significant level” of vacancies in the sectors over the coming months.

18 of the 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland experienced an increase in job openings last year.

Lynne McCormack, General Manager of FRS Recruitment, says the vacancies will be widely spread across the country.
