A Donegal Sinn Fein TD has launched a scathing attack on the Tánaiste over the ongoing nursing home fee debacle.
This week has seen the revelation that successive governments used the strategy to limit payouts to some nursing home residents and that the plan was “pursued by successive governments”.
Meanwhile the head of the HSE has said today that it can only grant nursing home fee repayments to applicants that meet the eligibility criteria set out in law.
