There are hopes that additional traffic calming measures can be introduced in Mullaghmore ahead of this year’s tourism season.
The area is hugely popular with holiday makers however, the route down is extremely narrow with a series of bends, and there has been ongoing concern among residents over the speed some motorists are travelling on it.
While a one way system has operated during the summer months, it’s thought that additional safety signage would be beneficial.
