Drumshanbo Community Council was recipient of the ‘The Special Economic Initiative’ award at the 2023 IFB Pride of Place Awards in Dublin on Saturday.
The awards, which are coordinated through local authorities across Ireland, acknowledge work carried out in communities to shape, change and improve their respective communities took place at the Clayton Hotel on the Burlington Road.
Drumshanbo Community Council were awarded ‘The Special Economic Initiaitve’ by the judges, for their collective work with the Food Hub in the town.
