St Attracta’s reach Connacht Colleges semi-final

St Attracta’s Tubbercurry senior boys gaelic footballers are through to the Connacht Colleges ‘B’ semi–finals following Wednesday’s 2-12 to 2-8 win over Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown, in the Connacht GAA Air Dome.

The victory sets up a semi-final meeting with St Muredach’s College, Ballina.

Attracta’s finished runners-up in Group C of the senior ‘B’ championship before Christmas – and had four points to spare over Group A runners-up Strokestown on Wednesday to earn a place in the last four.

The team is managed by Colm McGee.

St Attracta’s senior girls footballers are in action on Thursday when they play the Convent of Mercy, Roscommon, in the Connacht Colleges senior LGFA ‘B’ football final at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence at 12 noon.
