Local parents react to children back to school amid rise in winter viruses



As the majority of students in the North West returned to the classroom today after the Christmas break, there’s concern over a rise in a number of viruses.

 

Winter illnesses, including Covid and flu, continue to circulate at high levels.

 

The Department of Health is advising that children should be kept off school if they feel unwell or have a high fever.
