A local councillor has encouraged the launch of the Ask for Angela campaign to be rolled out in pubs and bars around Sligo Town.
Ask for Angela is a code word for anyone on a night out who is in an uncomfortable situation to use with any member of staff, who will then alert members of the authorities or diffuse the situation.
