Easkey’s All-Ireland semi-final moved to Louth

Easkey hurlers All-Ireland junior club hurling semi-final against Kilburn Gaels of London will now be played at the Louth GAA Training Centre in Darver.

The original venue for the game, Páirc Táilteann has been deemed unplayable.

The game will throw-in at 1pm and will be broadcast live on oceanfm.ie, with match commentary from Liam Maloney and Sligo hurling boss Padraig Mannion.

As it stands, the game will be on a grass pitch at Darver on Sunday.

However, it’s understood that Croke Park has indicated to the teams that if the grass pitch in Louth becomes unplayable, the game will be played on the 3G artificial surface at the same venue.
