The North West region could experience falls of snow in the coming days as temperatures continue to plummet across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Met Éireann has issued a nationwide status yellow ice warning, which will remain in place until midday.
It’s warning of treacherous driving conditions and black ice on the roads this morning.
