Enniskillen no match for All-Ireland champions Kilcoo

Fermanagh senior football champions Enniskillen Gaels bowed out of the Ulster club championship in Saturday evening’s semi-final in Armagh as they were soundly beaten by reigning Ulster and All-Ireland champions Kilcoo, on a final scoreline of 3-14 to 1-9.

The damage was done in the first half as Kilcoo dominated the opening 30 minutes, showing no complacency whatsoever as they restricted their opponents to a single score to lead by 2-8 to 0-1 by the interval.

Enniskillen showed brief signs of a revival in third quarter with substitute Eoin Beacom netting 1-3 during this period, but Kilcoo responded with a third goal from Aaron Morgan to put the game well out out of the Fermanagh side’s reach.
