Government under fire over delays in assigning PPS numbers to refugees



The Government has come under fire over delays in assigning PPS numbers to Ukrainian refugees with the issue said to be leaving people in the North West without access to GP and other services.

 

There’s concern that it’s leading to misunderstandings in local communities.

 

Speaking in the Dail to Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman, Independent TD for Donegal Thomas Pringle also outlined how school transport services for Ukrainian children in south Donegal is not up to scratch.

 

Deputy Pringle says high level agreements do not seem to be translating on the ground and it must be addressed as matter of urgency.
