Safety concerns raised over section of Knockbrack graveyard



Safety concerns have been raised over accessibility in a section of Knockbrack graveyard in Keash.

 

It’s understood that the newer area of the graveyard is on a very steep incline with a concrete path which combined, has been deemed challenging for older people and those with a disability.

 

There have been calls for a handrail to be installed but Sligo County Council says the pathway must first be widened and there’s currently no funding in place for it.
