The Government has been accused of ‘making a ‘hames’ of the Mica Redress Scheme.
The Dáil has heard that there’s a sense of abandonment in Donegal and the wider North West area over current constraints with the scheme.
It’s understood that many homeowners who have submitted applications for their homes to be repaired or rebuilt are on stage one of the scheme and can’t get any further because they are finding it impossible get alternative accommodation.
