75 people waiting for beds in North West hospitals



There are 75 people on trollies in the two main hospitals in the north west today.

According to the INMO Trolley Watch figures, 43 people are waiting for a bed in Sligo University Hospital. In Letterkenny University Hospital, the number sit at 32.

On a national front, there are 612 people waiting for beds across the country, with 509 of those in emergency departments.

University Hospital Limerick is the most crowded hospital in the country, with 86 people on trollies there today.
