This week’s meeting of the Manorhamilton MD heard calls for upgrade works to take place at the facilities situated in a playground in Glenfarne village.
The meeting heard how there are three pieces of equipment that are out of use at present.
Concerns were also voiced by Cllr Sean McDermott in relation to parts of the playground needing drainage.
The Fine Gael councillor says the location of the playground makes it a popular attraction for local residents and commuters that travel the N 16.
