A goal with the last move the match deep in added time gave Dromahair a dramatic one-point win over Melvin Gaels in Sunday’s Leitrim Connacht Gold senior relegation final in Drumshanbo.
Dromahair won by 2-11 to 2-10.
The result keeps Padraig Clancy’s side in senior championship football for next year – with Melvin Gaels relegated to intermediate football.
Melvin Gaels led by 1-6 to 1-4 at half-time and maintained that advantage for most of the second-half – until that last-gasp goal for Dromahair, which snatched victory.
