Concern over revised public consultation on Collooney one way traffic section



Concern has been raised over what’s been described as too short a window for people to have their say on a proposed new one way traffic section in Collooney.

 

A public consultation was due to begin today and to be held over a three day period however that’s now been changed to just tomorrow from 3pm – 7pm in the Teeling Centre.

 

It is proposed that the one way system will go from St Mary’s School, past the Health Centre and finishing at Connolly’s Public House and, if successful, will pave the way for a full one way system.

 

But local Cllr Thomas Healy believes a three hour allocation for the event is insufficient and is urging people to attend and make their views known:
