Third level students facing major accommodation challenge in Sligo.



The current student accommodation crisis coupled with the rising cost of living is said to be leaving parents scrambling for accommodation in towns such as Sligo.

 

With a return to third level education in the number of weeks, students and parents are considering hostels and hotels as short-term solutions to the current accommodation crisis.

 

The Presidents of the Students at ATU in Sligo has described the current situation in Sligo as a crisis.
