Two swimmers were rescued yesterday evening by Sligo Bay Lifeboat.
The two swimmers became in difficulty off Deadmans Point in Rosses Point at 6.30 yesterday evening.
The volunteer lifeboat crew were quick on the scene arriving to the aid of the men in minutes
One swimmer was treated at the station by the ambulance crew and the second man was airlifted to Sligo University Hospital by the Rescue 118 helicopter.
