Planned works at Grange get off on the wrong foot



Residents in Grange are said to be frustrated over what’s been described as a lack of consultation on planned footpath works in the village.

 

The works are set to take place near Grange Post Primary School and will result in the narrowing of the nearby bridge in the area.

 

A public meeting is due to take place tomorrow evening at 8pm in the Parochial Hall for residents to have their say.

 

Cllr Thomas Healy was contacted by a number of people recently with regard to concerns over the works including traffic flow and line of sight at junctions.

 

Cllr Healy believes that the works should be stalled until such time as sufficient consultation takes place:
