Fall in number of people targeted by CAB in Donegal



There’s been a fall in the number of people being targeted by the Criminal Assets Bureau in Donegal.

 

CABs annual report shows that 28 individuals were being targeted in the county at the end of last year, a decrease of 42% on the year previous.

 

Nationally, 5.5 million euro was returned to the state last year after investigations by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

 

The report also shows over 17-hundred individuals or organisations were under investigation last year, while 61 houses were under it’s control.
