Additional public seating and benches to be installed in Sligo’s public spaces

Additional public seating and benches around walking trails and suitable public spaces are to be erected around North Sligo

The initial seats were installed this week following a motion put forward at the council earlier in year by newly elected leas Cathaoirleach for the Sligo/Drumcliffe municipal distract cllr Marie Casserly.

The additional outdoor seating is planned to be added to Grange village, Raughly, Drumcliffe, Carney village, Ballisode, Collooney and a number of other locations across the Sligo/Drumcliffe MD.

Cllr Casserly has been welcoming the new public infrastructure.
