A mass movement will be mobilised within the coming months which will force the Government to act on the rise in the cost of living.
That’s according to Sligo Independent Socialist Cllr, Declan Bree, who made his comments after Sligo’s cost of living protest outside the Town Hall on Saturday.
Cllr Bree echoed calls for a mini budget and for rises in the living wage and social welfare payments to help those worst affected.
