Leitrim to face Sligo in Tailteann Cup 1/4 final



Andy Moran’s Leitrim have been drawn to play Tony McEntee’s Sligo in the quarter-final of the new Tailteann Cup.

Monday morning’s draw saw Leitrim pulled out first, so they will have home advantage for the game, which will be played next Sunday (June 5th) at 3pm.

It will be the third meeting between the counties this year, with Sligo having beaten beaten Leitrim in both the FBD competition and the national league this season.

Two of next weekend’s quarter-finals will be streamed live on GAAGO.

The selected games will be confirmed later by the GAA.

Leitrim v Sligo, Carrick-on-Shannon, 3pm
Fermanagh v Cavan
Carlow v Westmeath
Offaly v New York.
